Ok so does anybody have a suggestion for teething? Paul is about to have his first tooth come in ( at least this better be his problem!) and we're both miserable. He won't sleep, doesn't want to eat (nurses just fine though), and cries a lot. In turn I don't sleep, cannot eat my food hot, feel horrible that he's not getting solid food to fill him up, and just about crazy from the crying. Just shoot me now.

Tam you could try one of those teething ring that you cool or frezze 1st. Or you could try a teething gel to help with the pain.

Is there a hard spot on his gums that feels like theres a tooth? Try the Oragel or the teether I bought you. I think you can put it in the freezer, and I'm sure you can put in the fridge. Just make it cool. I know he likes to chew on it. If I remeber corectly, Taabi would chew on the teethers only when hey were cool.

I have numbing gel, and I've tried the teethers he just won't hold them. I give him tylenol at night and before nap time, just to give him some reliefe. He still won't sleep for very long. He slept for two hours last night then hadme on the couch watching the late show, which by the way bruce willis has a great blues voice.

Hey tammy- Maybe try a vibrating teething ring, you may have to hold it, but it would feel good. Every child has to have their own vibrator.:-D Also, maybe try freezing a washcloth? You can give him a dose of tylenol to ease discomfort.
